Hey, I'm Nikki
I'm the founder of Ember & Bloom, and I've been a freelance creative for 10 years, most recently working as a product photographer and stylist.

Throughout my freelance journey, I have come to realise that creativity thrives in connection. Yet so often, we're doing this alone, figuring things out by ourselves, missing that sense of community and support that makes everything feel more doable (and much more fun).

That's why I created Ember & Bloom, a space where creative freelancers and business owners can come together, share their journeys, inspire each other, and build genuine connections with people who have been there too and totally get it.

This is where we support each other, celebrate wins, work through challenges together, and remind each other that we're not alone on this path.

I spent years freelancing thinking I had to figure everything out on my own. That asking for help meant I wasn't cut out for this. That other creatives had it all together while I was quietly struggling.
Turns out? We're all feeling the same things, we're just not talking about it.

That's what Ember & Bloom is here to change.

This is a space where you can actually say "I'm stuck" or "I have no idea what I'm doing" or "is anyone else feeling this?" and get real responses from people living it too. We are all about open and honest conversation, genuine support, and the relief of knowing you're not the only one.
